Frequently Asked Questions
What questions can we answer for you?

Is natural amber free of impurities?
Natural amber is rarely free of impurities. Because it is fossilized tree resin, it frequently contains foreign materials trapped millions of years ago. These natural inclusions actually verify the stone’s authenticity and determine its value.
Is Dominican strong enough to be Cut and polished?
Yes, Dominican amber is absolutely strong enough to be cut, polished, and carved, and is widely used for Jewelry production in the Dominican Republic. It has undergone a complete process of polymerization over tens of millions of years. This molecular cross-linking makes natural Dominican amber a stable, reliable material.
Is the amber 100% natural and untreated?
Yes. It is entirely raw, straight from the earth. The Dominican Republic has no amber processing industry or treatment plants. We do not have the technology to autoclave, clarify, or heat-treat the stones like most Baltic amber producers. What you see is exactly how nature created it millions of years ago.
Can you provide a certificate of authenticity?
Yes. We can provide a certificate by our company. But, in the Dominican Republic, we do not have a localized, industrial gemological laboratory to issue standardized certificates. However, we encourage you to test the polished amber yourself using salt-water buoyancy, UV light, or static tests. We also welcome third-party international certification once you receive the material.
Are there viable inclusions?
We pre-screen the rough using basic LED lights. If you are looking for specific inclusions, we can curate a selection that shows clear internal shadows or bubbles, though the final verification requires your professional polishing.
